The hostel is very clean and cozy. They have separate bathrooms for women and men and, as far as the female toilets are concerned, they were always very proper. The staff was super kind and friendly, they organised a very nice free tour with some young local people who showed us around and then took us to a little, lovely local restaurant to have traditional dinner together (Alexandrian style liver and sausages). The location, very close to the library, the seaside and the city center, is perfect. We highly recommend this hostel, it was a very nice experience.

Bed sheets, extra covers and pillows as well as towels, cleaning stuff and required utensils are available. The furniture is simple and in excellent condition. The host is a very nice, hospitable, and decent person who is willing to help by all means. First time to try apartment rental in Alexandria and it was a great one.

This is the most beautiful place I have ever spent my vacation in. We came from Germany and enjoyed a wonderful tour of lovely Egypt. Many thanks to Mr. Mohamed, the owner, for his hospitality.
