They have enough towels, enough toilet paper, it’s really easy to get to the room, no need for middle man, the breakfast is really good, big shower, lots of plugs, so pretty good.

The location was ideal, just around the corner from the Plaza Major, and bustling but not as crowded as its neighbour. All of Salamanca's stunning sights were within walking distance.We were welcomed by very friendly and informative staff, and there was a lift ( and also a breakfast room and a roof terrace that we didn't make use of). We had a brilliant three days, and we totally recommend!

There are several bars and restaurants within a short walk, and Salamanca University is only 800 metres away. Public parking can be found 100 metres from the guest house. Small, comfortable and not ruinous to the pocket hostal. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not very spacious but perfect for the stay. Location is perfect - all amenities are just within 10 minutes walk. There are plenty of tapas bars, restaurants around the place.

Sercotel Puerta de la Catedral is just 100 metres from the University of Salamanca, which dates from 1218. The hotel offers views over the Cathedrals. The Plaza Mayor is only 400 metres away. Private parking is available on site at an additional cost. The location, appart from beautiful --right behind the cathedral--, was right in the middle of the city and because one sees the cathedral from many points in the city it was very easy to always find the hotel. Extremely convenient. I have several severe food allergies and intolerances and *Susana*, the person in charge of breakfast, took all the trouble so I would not get cross-contramination from the bouffet, and prepared everything herself taking all precautions, and thanks to her effort, everything went perfect. I want to extend my special thanks to her. The hotel has its own parking, extremely convenient in that old quarters area. All personal was helpful and nice.
