Vinna has an organic fruit and veg stall at front of property, and makes fabulous smoothies, and offers delicious home cooked Fijian dishes. Robert gave us a lifts around, and took us to the waterfalls (wonderful) and he offers boat trips too.

They were so kind and friendly, making us feel right at home. The homestay itself was charming, spacious and comfortable, and the food provided was absolutely delicious – every meal was so yummy and filling! We had such a great experience and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area. Book with them – you won't regret it!

The location is wonderful. The homestay is in a beautiful little village in between the major attractions such as the Lavena Coastal Walk and the Waitavala Water Slide. The villagers are warm and friendly. The host family is exceptionally kind and professional. They treat you as if you're a guest at a five star resort. One of my favorite things about my stay was the food! They prepare the best homemade dishes!

Lomani ligger i Matei og har en udendørs swimmingpool, gratis wi-fi, gratis shuttletransport og roomservice. Walking in to Lomani was truly a "WOW" moment and you instantly fall in love. Lomani has the most incredible view up on the hill of the Somosomo Straight right from it's own pool, it honestly doesn't feel real! We cooked our own breakfast in the large kitchen, loved roaming the grounds to find fruits (like pineapples) and tropical flowers. The wifi and Netflix are awesome additions too, but we just found ourselves enjoying switching off and gazing into the stunning sunsets and showered under the stars. Knox was so helpful and picked us up from the ferry, drove us to the shops for supplies, and lots of activities, including the beautiful Bouma falls and we also snorkelled the insanely colourful rainbow reef (amazing dive shop just down the road!). Our experience was enriched greatly by Knox and we enjoyed our time getting to know him. Saskia is also a fabulous host who communicated everything we needed to know before our stay. Glass bottom kayaks and snorkel gear are also available but sadly we ran out of time to use them. There are so many activities to chose from, or equally opportunities to just relax, recharge, and connect with nature and each other. Knox even worked tirelessly all day to cook us a traditional Lovo on our final night at Lomani, which was so delicious and very memorable. It rained quite heavily during our time but it didn't dampen our experience at all. Lomani is a quaint cottage that feels cosy and spacious like home (but with ten times more incredible views). There is something deeply special about Lomani and we hope to return one day but stay longer than three nights. Taveuni is a tranquil, quiet, lush garden island teaming with wildlife, fruit, flowers and creatures (like frogs and geckos), along with such kind hearted people. Unlike anywhere we have ever been before. We are from a busy city and loved how Taveuni is the opposite.
