Robert gave us a lifts around, and took us to the waterfalls (wonderful) and he offers boat trips too.

The family is so special, they dedicate their time to make your stay memorable. They organize tours for you for example snorkelling or horse riding, they help to rent a car. When i got burnt with the sun they cut for me fresh Aloe vera very late in the evening so I could sleep after soothing my sunburnt skin with Aloe. They cook for you very fresh food, nice tarrace to eat your meals there, good location and amazing atmosphere!!! <3 The family is saying that they are building a New guesthouse and will be ready soon. For now the bathroom is shared and very basic but it is temporary.

The stay with Sarah & Sam and the whole family was simply indescribably beautiful. I felt like a member of the family from the very first second. The rooms were very clean and had everything you need. The food cooked by Mery, if desired at extra cost, but the quality and flavour better than any Fijian gourmet restaurant. The tours I went on with Sam were unique. Lots of stories and wisdom that made me laugh, along with the cultural knowledge of the country and its people. I will miss you. Coconut Grove Beachfront Resort offers beachfront accommodation in Matei on Taveuni Island. Each cottage has a private sun terrace and the resort offers massages in a private beach bure. Oceanfront location with proximity to other services if needed (grocery store, airport, other resort restaurants). Small number of guest cottages/guests on site. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We appreciated all of the information provided before we arrived to insure a comfortable and pleasant experience. Excellent snorkeling within a short boat ride from the property.
