Such outstanding location .If you are looking for a place to relax this is it.We loved strolling around the estate as well as the visit to the inside of the castle.Room was cozy spotless .The restaurant excellent .The staff everywhere from the reception with the sweet ladies that helped us with the little misunderstanding in our reservation to the staff at the restaurant were helpful and made you feel welcomed.

We loved our stay at Cathedral Lodge. Exceptional location, right on the grounds of the famous Canterbury Cathedral, with parking right outside the lodge (must be reserved). Great breakfast with lots of choice, just perfect. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, all well thought out. We had a fantastic view of the cathedral. Entry to the cathedral is free for guests of the lodge. The location is a perfect base for exploring Canterbury.

Beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and lovely White Company bedding. So many quality touches. An excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and cooked to order. Evelyn was a super host.

We had room 5 at the side of the pub in the more modern part. Think this was quieter than the front rooms (but village road is quiet at night.). All meals were excellent and staff very amenable to personal food choices. We ate in the pub in the evenings, plenty of choice, though menu didn’t vary while we were there. Dog friendly 👍. Staff were all great and willingly shared their local knowledge. Bus X3 has stops nearby for easy access to Canterbury and Faversham. We would happily stay there again.

The hosts were amazing, great contact with them before and throughout our stay. They're very kind and welcoming people. They go the extra mile for their guests, which really elevates the experience. We had access to guest pantry with some light breakfast options, the room was very clean and beautifully decorated. They also gave us tips for where to dine and what to see (which did not disappoint!).
