Minutes from the channel tunnel and an easy drive to Hythe for all amenities. We loved the room and the pretty gardens. We were able to sit outside and eat our picnic tea in the sunshine. The bed was great and we slept well. Good takeaway breakfast.

The room & washroom was spacious, the decor in line with the castle & Tudor house theme. The breakfast was the tastiest we had in the UK!! We stayed in Room 1 and it was huge. Beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and lovely White Company bedding. So many quality touches. An excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and cooked to order. Evelyn was a super host.

Friendly welcome, Rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Bed is comfortable, feather duvets and pillows, quality bedding. We had room 5 at the side of the pub in the more modern part. Think this was quieter than the front rooms (but village road is quiet at night.). All meals were excellent and staff very amenable to personal food choices. We ate in the pub in the evenings, plenty of choice, though menu didn’t vary while we were there. Dog friendly 👍. Staff were all great and willingly shared their local knowledge. Bus X3 has stops nearby for easy access to Canterbury and Faversham. We would happily stay there again.

Our room in a nice house was very nicely decorated, very clean and had everything you needed - the owners paid a lot of attention to the details that make a travel experience really relaxing. There is also clean kitchen that guests can use (including a fridge). The owners are very nice and helpful. Unfortunetely, for us it was only a 1-night-stay on our way to the ferry port the next morning. Wish we stayed longer!
