Very reasonable price which coupled with an excellent restaurant, friendly staff, great room and a perfect breakfast makes the Woodside without doubt the best value hotel I have stayed in for decades.

Absolutely love the decor and standard of furniture, fixtures and fitting of this beautifully refurbished Georgian house. Extremely well decorated and furnished, spacious, with a large bar area, large restaurant with linen tablecloths, and a separate dining area for four-legged friends. Good to know that pets are welcome and are catered for, but those without pets can dine in a separate area. Bedroom (No. 7) was beautifully furnished, spacious with very comfy super king size bed and lovely walk-in shower room with a hot powerful shower. We didn't dine in the restaurant in the evening but we both had a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly, efficient and attentive. Finally, the price for B&B for two was very reasonable. What's not to like ??? Highly recommended !!!

Basically everything! Pleasantly, we were upgraded upon arrival to a wonderful, spacious, light and comfortable room. Staff were very attentive, showed us through the hotel’s lovely facilities and booked us into the restaurant where we had an amazing evening meal. Bed was heavenly comfortable where we slept peacefully followed by an exceptional breakfast. The grounds and spa facilities also excellent. A truly luxurious stay!!

Location is fab, apartment was spotless & loved using the access code to get into building. Made stay much more enjoyable without worrying about minding keys!!
