Boasting an indoor and outdoor pool with a view, Wellness Hotel Villa Magdalena is situated on a picturesque hill in the centre of Krapinske Toplice, in the Hrvatsko Zagorje region. The food was amazing, they had gluten free options. The staff was friendly and helpful, the massage was great, the rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful. The price was good and the location was great.

Surrounded by rolling green hills, it offers breathtaking sunsets, the kind that make you pause and savour the moment. They grow their own fresh vegetables, which adds to the wholesome and authentic feel of the stay. The connection to the land is palpable, making every moment feel like a gift. Adding to the charm, you’ll find three joyful border collies, a majestic horse named Freya, and two sweet cats. These animals create a sense of harmony between humans, nature, and the animals around you, making every day extra special. Whether you’re relaxing in the peaceful surroundings, connecting with the animals, or enjoying produce straight from the garden, this place is pure bliss. The views are spectacular and soul-resting, the kind of scenery that makes you breathe a little deeper and smile without realizing it. During our time in Croatia, Svetliraj was by far the best accommodation we stayed in. Leaving was the hardest part, as we’re already missing it. We will absolutely be returning. The place is very quiet and calm. I was surprised that the hostess left some treats for us in the refrigerator. It was nice.
