There are in good conditions and with a full tank. - Good restaurant next door, for your breakfast. We'll book here again if we visit again Samosir island.

I truly loved everything about Mario Lakeside. The location is peaceful and beautiful, right by the lake — perfect for relaxing. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. What made this place special is the heart behind it. The owner, Pak Ali, is a kind and inspiring person. He also runs a foundation for children with cleft lips in Sumatra — which made my stay feel even more meaningful. Upstairs, there’s a vegetarian café with delicious food. They grow some of their ingredients on-site (farm-to-table concept), and I was blown away by the haloumi sandwich – they even import the cheese from the UK! It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a place that stays with you. I’d definitely come back if I visit Toba again.

My friend and I were very comfortable at Mr Bloom’s place. The place was very clean and modern. Mr Bloom, his friends and family were very welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend.

The location, the host, the room, the balcony, everything. Walking distance to everything, on the main road but still quiet, love the quiet morning view from the balcony. They have a restaurant downstairs, good and affordable food. The best for the price.

There are many restaurants within walking distance as well. The house itself was comfortable. The host Ranti was great as well! She's really funny and helpful. She helped us to book motorbikes and a day tour, both which turned out amazing. It's really convenient to get a ferry back to mainland as well. The ferry can stop right at the house to drop you off/pick you up.

Ruma Kaca Simanindo Bed&Breakfast ligger indenfor 2,3 km fra Pantai Batu Hoda Strand og har restaurant, en have, et privat strandområde og et fælles opholdsområde. Calm atmosphere, cool weather, good coffee. There is a museum and a Batak traditional house. Friendly owner 👍🏻

The apartment has a large living room, kitchen, water point and balcony. The place is made special by Marin, fluent in English and a warm personality who makes you feel at home and really helps you with everything you need (transport, getting scooters and directions). She also runs a restaurant downstairs from the apartment (no noise at all) and you really do not want to go anywhere else for breakfast. Delicious, also for lunch and dinner.

This place stole our hearts because of the family running it and the warm, welcoming vibe. We stayed for seven nights and felt so at home that we didn’t want to leave. They took great care of us: arranging our tours, serving some of the most delicious food on the island, and always greeting us with a warm smile. The vibe among the people staying here was also amazing; we left with more than six new friends. It was such a memorable experience that we left almost in tears. The facilities are also great. Internet is super fast that I could do home office and the views are breathtaking. Thank you for all your help and warmth. Maruba Inn will always stay in our hearts.

Nia, the Manager did all she could to welcome us and even stayed up late when we had unavoidable delays making us arrive well past check in. But the whole team are fantastic being attentive and responsive to our needs and requests with smiles at the ready. The inclusion of your choice of breakfast is fantastic and it was the nicest breakfast and cleanest accommodation we had in our month on Sumatra We stayed for 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. We had to move one night as they were full and stayed at Carolina Cottages but couldn’t wait to get back to a much more welcoming and flexible vibe at Hub Tata If you want peaceful lakeside spot and a lovely vibe with helpful good people and a delicious breakfast this is your place!
