A 5-minute drive from Galway city centre, Ardawn House offers high-quality en suite rooms and an extensive breakfast menu. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived early and were asked to select our room to when we left. All the staff were so accommodating and friendly and very happy to share their knowledge of the area and attractions. The room was very comfortable with chocolates and water a bonus. Beds were extremely comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The breakfast on offer was amazing and anything we wanted was cooked for us and was delicious. Such a fantastic place, wish we had more time to explore a bit more. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if in Galway

The Ash Grove host was welcoming and offered unique breakfast options, such as smoked salmon. The location was walkable, both to Galway Bay and to central Galway. The red door is a nice touch!

On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland's oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you'll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. We were astounded by this Hotel which is literally in the middle of nowhere, lovely view of the mountains and lake. The room was great, it's an old hotel so the older type of furniture was in keeping. I asked for a separate shower, not one over the bath, and got that. The breakfast was first class as were the dinners that we had there. Lovely bar area and lounge. It is certainly a hotel we will visit again in the near future.
