Located next to Galway Railway and Bus Station, Galway City Hostel - Solo Traveller Hostel overlooks Eyre Square. The location is superb. Right by the station when you arrive and as you step out the door you are right in the centre and can start walking tours, pub tours or shopping straight away. Would highly recommend!

Offering free parking just 8 minutes’ walk from Galway’s centre, Ash Grove House offers freshly cooked, full Irish breakfasts. I can highly recommend staying here. The owners and staff are very friendly and the room was very nice and cozy. The breakfast was very nice. You have some different options to chose from the day before and then they make it fresh for you in the morning when you come down to the breakfast room. The location is also great. Its about a 12 min walk to the city center and 10 min maximum to the University. There's also a small supermarket and pharmacy close by. I visited in December 2024 and the Christmas spirit in Galway is amazing.
