The building is historic but my room was either new or rehabbed and it was fresh and clean and decorated really cute. There is a bar on premises which was nice and so convenient. Sean was a great host-very welcoming and friendly. Made me feel like a local which was great as a solo traveler. He had a breakfast room which was decked out with many different breakfast choices perfect for hikers or anyone.

Boasting a garden and views of inner courtyard, Sunriseview Cottages is a recently renovated chalet situated in Wicklow, 5.8 km from Wicklow Gaol. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We arrived slightly early at the accommodation, but Sophia the owner was happy to give us the keys, There was a welcome pack of milk, tea, eggs and fresh scones which made a lovely surprise. The property was spacious and very clean. The views over the field towards the sea was lovely. We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage and would highly recommend it.

The holiday home features facilities for disabled guests. We had a great stay at your beautiful cottages! We absolutely loved the little fairy trail you’ve created for children—it was such a magical touch. The cottages themselves are of the highest standard: very comfortable, warm, and inviting. The view from the cottage was breathtaking. Drinking coffee in the mornings while gazing out at the spectacular scenery was truly unforgettable. It was also a pleasure to watch the friendly alpacas roaming on the farm. Jo and Sue, the hosts, were incredibly helpful yet allowed us to enjoy our stay with complete independence. The nearby tourist attractions were all within a short drive—no more than 30 minutes away. We had the most magical Christmas ever, and it was all thanks to your wonderful hospitality and the charm of the cottages.
