Tommy and Pam were great hosts, the rooms were just what we needed and the breakfast was wonderful. The location was very close to the relatives we were meeting. We were able to arrive early and leave the car at the lodge while we visited with cousins,

Glenvela guest house localiza-se em Castlerea, a 16 km de Centro Interpretativo Dr. We absolutely loved this beautiful rural location, lovely old home, beautiful setting, gorgeous views, the only sound is sheep bleating, a good chat with other guests at breakfast, and the warmth of the host who makes the best mugs of tea and cooked breakfasts we had anywhere in Ireland. A really memorable stay. Ask for the King Suite if free.

The views from the kitchen window were beautiful even on a rainy day. And Margaret was an exceptional guest. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place in a charming location in Sligo. The host greeted us and had time for a chat and to show us around. There is a comfortable common area where you can sit and unwind. The room was very clean, spacious and we had the best sleep! The highlight of the stay was a fantastic breakfast- there was a choice of sourdough breads, yoghurt/berries, fantastic cooked Irish breakfast and the host even organised crepes for my 10 year old! I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to explore Sligo while staying in a tranquil, cozy location with a fantastic lake view, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast!
