Enjoyed the outdoor hot bath, which the property also offers indoor sauna (but note operational at selected timings only). The room is lovely with a window overseeing the 'boat on the dock'. There is a common area for people to gather and chat, with central heating in the centre. The breakfast buffet was great too, served in the restaurant, and you get to enjoy nice views as well ... however, they close the restaurant when breakfast is over, meaning all patrons will be asked to adjourn elsewhere. The bar is open in the evenings, but pretty pricey so go easy on the alcohol :)

Este hotel está situado a 2 km del lago Mývatn y a 30 minutos en auto de la cascada de Godafoss y del cráter de Krafla. Dispone de conexión de wifi gratis y habitaciones con muebles modernos. Todo hermoso! Bar y restaurante dentro del hotel. Te llaman a la puerta si estan las auroras. Desayuno buenísimo y variado. Personal super atento. Super super recomiendo!!!!!

Ingvar, our host is very quick to respond to my queries and very informative. His home is beautifully set up. Everything we needed was provided. Wifi is excellent. Bunos that there's a laundry ( both washer & dryer) available. Our room was spacious & clean. Whole house was clean. Such a shame we were only there for 1 night. Would've loved to enjoy more of the view whilst having a meal. Hopefully we can come back again.
