Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon offers luxurious accommodation in Hnappavellir. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and hotel bar. The room was great and the hotel was beautiful. The sauna and hot tub are especially amazing perks in the winter. The room had a little coffee maker and we asked for a kettle which was provided. The staff was nice and the location was secluded enough to not suffer light pollution but close to meeting spots for tours and the diamond beach.

The position is amazing and we also saw the sunset two evenings. Just you enter inside, you would not go out anymore since it is so comfortable. We really appreciated the desk and the chairs for the outdoor where we took a lunch.

Located on top of a private farm having views of mountains and glaciers from the sit-out. Extremely quiet. Not even a soul could be heard from there. Only sound was sheep and lovely breeze. Beautiful wooden 2 bedroom cottage having every possible thing one might need. Can easily spend 2 days to enjoy it fully. Worth every price and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quiet time in Iceland.

Great location in idyllic surroundings and just a few minutes’ drive from Svinafell and Skaftafell glaciers and their respective hiking trails. A short walk from the guesthouse will take you past lush fields with sheep and horses and sweeping views. The accommodation itself was clean, stylish, comfortable and well-equipped, and the hosts were really friendly and helpful.
