Staying at the Guesthouse is a must if you go to Katsuyama and visit the dinosaur museum, especially if you have children, even older ones. The stay enhanced the experience. As other reviews have attested, I confirm the hospitality the owners provided us and went beyond our expectations. Many people will visit the museum as a day trip. However, I highly recommend staying overnight if you are a Japanese national with children or, like me, an international tourist.

Em Eiheiji, a 7,3 km de Templo Eihei-ji, 駅前宿舎 禪 shared house zen apresenta acomodações com um jardim, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, uma cozinha partilhada e um salão partilhado. Exceptional! Such cute town right by Eiheiji, shouldn't miss it. The place is a traditional house with large volume of rooms and facilities. So special from the history and craftsmanship and kind hosts and stories they tell us if we catch them. People in town are so so friendly. Shy in the beginning but only 5 minutes after, like old relatives. Highly recommended to take time and stay chez Sakai!

温泉民宿三国縁 situa-se em Sakai, a 20 km de Phoenix Plaza e a 21 km de Fukui International Activities Plaza. The appartement was very clean, serene and calming. It has a nice Japanese feel and the hosts were very kind!

貸切民泊 手寄の宿 JR福井駅東口から徒歩5分 5min 安い encontra-se em Fukui, a 2,3 km de Phoenix Plaza, 3,4 km de Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall e 16 km de Templo Eihei-ji. A great house. Very easy communication with owner.

Com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito, 町宿 紬 situa-se em Obama, apenas a 3 minutos a pé de Mermaid Beach. 町宿 紬 está a 35 km de Maizuru Repatriation Memorial Museum. It was so amazing to stay here! The owners were so friendly and caring. They gave us many local tips, offered daily cleaning, new amenities, and fresh towels. The house is beautiful, very well equipped, and everything is brand new. The house is located in the old district of Obama and close to many amazing restaurants and of course the beach promenade. We loved our time here and regret not staying longer.

Beautiful location in a small coastal town right on the ocean..Our host and hotel stay are wonderful... they even gave us a ride to the station. The food was amazing as well.

京町レジダンス situa-se em Echizen, a 18 km de Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall e a 24 km de Fukui International Activities Plaza. By far my favourite place to stay in Japan so far. The ladies who welcomed us was so incredibly sweet; they showed us around and one of them even took us to the local shrine so my kids could enjoy the ice cream I had purchased from their sister store.
