Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. The private onsen was perfect.

Onsen from a fairly tale. 3 baths outside surrounded by nature and a running river. Honestly felt like a dream. On top of that we stayed in a traditional Japanese room and to top it off the food quality was phenomenal. Of course the staff was amazing as well :) could not recommend more!

It was my first time in Kusatsu and I am really happy that I chose the Buna Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean. I love its modern side while still keeping a very traditional Japanese atmosphere. The place is beautiful, very quiet, and the welcome was so polite. I will recommend this hotel to my friends in France, and I truly hope to come back to Kusatsu one day. Arigatō gozaimasu! 🙏✨

We love everything about this lodge. A very comfy lodge in a quite neigborhood. It was a very relaxing 4 days. We planned to do some snowboarding however some of us was not feeling well, so we just chill around the lodge, and we really had our recovery time there! Thank you so much Craig, Tim, Palof and Daniella for our wonderful 4 days there. We won’t forget your superb hospitality.

The hotel was lovely, free welcome drinks and cakes were very nice to have. We didn't have the breakfast or dinner as we wanted to eat outside but they seemed very good as well.

This guesthouse is hidden gem during our 2 night stay at Kusatsu onsen with only 7-8 rooms & the environment is very cozy. The guesthouse was newly renovated & everything like new. We booked 4pax stay & the rooms condition is excellent. The staff service is good. We love it very much the onsen facility on this guesthouse. Breakfast provided were excellent. Nevertheless, this guesthouse is highly recommend during your visit to Kusatsu Onsen.

While the location was a bit out of the way (roughly 25min drive from Takasaki station), it was in a beautiful and quiet spot surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom. The room we had was the biggest out of all the places we stayed in Japan, was clean and comfortable, and had a private garden with covered deck and outdoor bath, which was absolute bliss after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The hospitality shown to us by the staff was exceptional, and we had no problem communicating through limited Japanese/English. They served traditional meals, which were beautifully presented and a delight to eat, having small servings of lots of different things. We made use of the free bicycles and had a great time exploring the area while getting a bit of exercise.

Hotel facilities are easy to access, clean and have all amenities you might need. Staff is extremely helpful and their English level is great, which makes a big difference when asking for recommendations or suggestions or quite simply have a conversation upon arrival. Also made use of the massage service in the room, very professional and great massage overall. The system is set up easily so you can enjoy this in your privacy and comfort.
