The hotel is close to the train station and some attractions. The food was amazing, with lots of options to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the entire facility - was fantastic for a family (2 adults, 2 kids under 6 + grandparents). We booked two rooms and they were super spacious, lots of room to lounge about and also for the kids to jump and get their energy out. On-site facilities were fantastic - private onsen bath in our bathroom was amazing to relax in, plus the "public" onsen was also super relaxing. There was a play area for kids which they really enjoyed, and the kids loved the free snacks, icy poles and hot chocolate/soft drinks. Breakfast was buffet and delicious. Was very easy to get to - just 5 mins walk from Gora station, and super easy to catch cable car up mountain or train to do the Hakone Loop. Also walking distance to the Hakone Open Air museum. Overall very very family friendly, and we spent a couple of afternoons just enjoying the very relaxing atmosphere.
