The public bath is really clean, the water is pristine.

Amazing hotel, close to the castle. Staff were absolutely attentive. The room was huge and with castle views. Very convenient if you are taking the coach line to Yufuin or Kurokawa, as the bus station is in front of the hotel.

They arranged both Japanese and French dinners for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed—truly the best of the best.

Open from September 2019, only 150 metres from JR Hakata Train Station, Miyako Hotel Hakata offers stylish rooms with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The famous Nanzoin Temple is a 30-minute train ride away. We enjoyed staying here. Hotel is new and comfortable. Location is good, just opposite the train station. Hotel has a spa and swimming pool. Breakfast is good.

Each accommodation at the 3-star ryokan has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a hot spring bath and a public bath. The ryokan features family rooms. The hotel lobby is beautiful and cheerful. The front desk staff changed the channel on the lobby wide screen television, so we could watch the American World Series! They also let us know the channel to access the game on our room televisions. The rooms were small but enough for us to relax in and with a view of the ocean. Breakfast was exceptional and we enjoyed some of the daring combinations.
