Everything was impeccable and the spaces are all very cozy. The private bath was a such a treat. We loved the views from the room and shared spaces as the house is next to the forest. Akira is an awesome host. Even though we stayed here during green (and rainy) season, he gave us lots of recommendations of things to do around the area. He speaks English fluently so communication was very easy. Can’t recommend enough!

It all started with our host Elia who was warm, welcoming, helpful, flexible, and an all around great host. The house is beautiful, the details are incredible. The space is very comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out without feeling like an imposition. It was comfortable and warm. Elia picked us up at the train station, made us a delicious Italian dinner with many ingredients from the garden and talked to us while he cooked. A great experience. Breakfast was delicious before a tour of the garden and a ride back to the train station. 100% would stay here again!

Quiet neighbourhood near the temple. I would stay there again if I return to Nagano.

Everything is so clean and well kept, the staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful and there is a wonderful sense of community among those staying there. The beds were also some of the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced at an accommodation.

Atsu responded to reassure that our commute concern would be solved. He would pick us up and drop off at Hosono station. The price of the hotel was very affordable and could walk to train station if having no luggage. Atsu was very accommodating to our trip plan change. He was thoughtful to drop us to the Shinano-Matsukawa station that the waiting area was warmer & was in town. Guest rooms were on the 2nd floor of a Curry Restaurant. Atsu helped carrying the suitcase up to the room & brought us furniture that we needed. He was also the chef of the restaurant. The food was yummy. We highly recommended this

The place is wonderful, has everything I could ask for right from laundry to a jacuzzi. Loved every bit of our stay and definitely coming back again
