Every little detail was thought of, the cottage is beautiful and just a few meters from the sea. Lisa, the owner, is a master in hospitality. We felt pampered and taken care of. It was wonderful.

We spent a wonderful 4 days in this gem of a house in Shari. Its location was ideal for exploring the Shiretoko National Park and the Akan-Mashu National park, with side trips to Kawayu and Abashiri. There are plenty of good restaurants and local supermarkets in the area too. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you would ever need. There's a mini fridge with local goodies, too, for a very reasonable price. There were 3 bedrooms. 2 of them with 2 twin beds and a tatami room with fold out futons. Great kitchen with all the mod cons, washing machine, and separate dryer, which worked great. Free parking is available in front of the house, and there's a great yakitori place across the road. It's wonderfully peaceful in the evenings despite being situated along the main road. The host is always available, and retrieving the keys was very efficient. A great stay, and I highly recommend it.

The location is a short walk from Rausu and the breakfast of toast was very tasty! Staff were also very kind and accommodating (they helped me store my bicycle overnight)!

We stayed one night on the way to the park in a twin room. The room was specious and very clean. With a big window facing the garden. On the same floor there are also dorm sleep boxes with shared bathroom and kitchen. All in all we liked the place and wanted to extend the stay but it was fully booked.
