Close to 来宮駅 Kinomiya Station just next to Atami. I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

An full apartment sized room, a soak in one of the two hot springs, two western-style breakfasts, our favorite hotel on a 15 hotel tour of japan. Front of house and chef were both great.

The apartment is very close to several beaches. It is well equipped and of high quality and feels luxerious. Good instructions in English. The outdoor space was the best part. We loved our stay there!

This was a shot in the dark booking since I couldn’t find a place near the beach that was tattoo friendly. We were blown away at the facility, amenities and overall beauty of the location. I booked 3 rooms. Everyone had their own private onsen bath. My husband and I upgraded to the sauna barrel room and we LOVED IT. The guys all did sauna in the morning. They even give you handmade authentic sauna hats. Breakfast was simple but filling. Half of the group did the Japanese style, half did American. My jumbo toast made me feel like I was in a Ghibli movie having breakfast. There is a vending machine in the breakfast area was a variety of snacks and drinks. Our van made it on the roads to the property. So a standard vehicle will have no issue. Beautiful creak flowing in the backyard of every room. Every room has an entrance, toilet & sink room, living room (doubles as bedroom bc you have tatami beds), vanity sink & rack, THEN sliding door to your shower & bath, THEN sliding door to your porch with seating. Our room had the barrel immediately to the left of the porch with ANOTHER outdoor tub. Price was excellent!!

We had a wonderful stay at Ben's property. Despite our late arrival, Ben and his wife graciously waited for us and gave us a thorough tour of the home. The house was impeccably clean and exactly as described in the listing. We especially enjoyed the hot Onsen bath, which was a fantastic addition to our stay. We truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. Highly recommended..

The managers of the guesthouse were fantastic. There aren't any restaurants around the place without going near the principal place of Shimoda, but they proposed dinner. The night I was there we ate the fish that the man of the couple had fished three days ago, and it was delicious. I recommend this guesthouse.
