It was our favourite place in Korea! The most lovely host who went out of his way to help us, give us recommendations and made us a little present when we left. The room was super comfy, the bed was perfect and the heating kept us warm during a really cold couple of days! The area is incredibly beautiful and worth visiting, we had a car so it was easy to explore, not sure how much you can see with buses!

The location was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. However, the availability of transport was great. Buses went past the door frequently and taxis were quickly available with a phone call. The accommodation was really great and so clean in the rooms. As the property is fairly new, the bedding and bathroom facilities were great. The owner was so attentive to our needs in the accommodation. Often going out of her way in recommending the area tourist attractions and local restaurants. Even to the point of assisting us to reach the destination. To cap everything off, we discovered the owner made the best, yes the best coffee in Tongyeong. We will not hesitate in staying there again and recommending to our friends.

It has everything you need for a long term stay: large room, washing machine, cooktop, fridge and so on. It is near many restaurants, supermarkets and stores. The staff is very friendly and I really liked the playlist playing at the reception!

The host is incredibly nice and helpful, he helped me to prepare my 2 days, recommended me different options for dining around, and took me and the other guests to an excellent traditional Korean dinner one night! The breakfast is nice and the rooms are comfortable, the guesthouse is located on the other harbour, next to the cable car entrance, 15mn away from the city center by bus. I strongly recommend this guesthouse!

The hosts were super friendly and warm — they even gave us extra gifts and snacks. On the second day, we had to change rooms, and they kindly helped us move our luggage. The view was amazing — ocean right in front, ships passing by all day. Very calm and peaceful, perfect for a quiet break away from the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice balcony to sit and enjoy the view. Breakfast was provided, and the fridge was well stocked. They can also arrange a barbecue in the evening for a small fee (you just bring the food). A convenience store is just a short walk away. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing stay — we’ll definitely come back here if we visit Namhae again!
