The property was built in 2021 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Excellent location! The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Chamara, Shan, Dilshan, and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable.

Situated in Arugam Bay, a few steps from Whisky Point, Whisky Point Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, room service and a 24-hour front desk, along with free WiFi. The accommodation offers nightclub and a tour desk. This is by far the best accommodation we’ve been to in Sri Lanka. Even though some people avoid this area during February as it’s considered low season, we had the best experience. It was quiet, sunny and relaxing. Anna and Nicolo are the best hosts and help out with whatever you need; surfing, safari, transport, etc. Their restaurant has delicious traditional pizza, pasta and more. Besides that, we saw a whole range of wildlife in the area, including free roaming elephants and crocodiles. After 3 nights I decided to extend my stay in Sri Lanka and come back for another full week at Whisky Point. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

The accommodation offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. Absolutely stunning, private, peaceful and relaxing. Our whole stay at Blue Water was perfect, the cabanas are cute, clean and spacious for couples. We couldn’t fault anything. We stayed for my 40th birthday and the team decorated our room, what a lovely surprise on entry. Although there is no air conditioning, the fans in the room are sufficient and the cabanas are designed well with openings for a breeze. Rinos is amazing, he was so attentive and looked after all of our needs. He’s really friendly, a pleasure to meet and an excellent chef. Sudha and Dinosan are both phenomenal, they make sure the whole area around the cabanas are pristine, they take so much pride and leave patterns in the sand for guests. There is a good variety of food, the fresh juices are so tasty. We had breakfast and dinner most days and Rinos catered for our tastes. The beach is private and only a few steps away, most days we were the only ones there, it is paradise. At night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. I had a wonderful stay at Bay Dreams. The breakfast was always fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety to start the day right. The hosts Mr Iqbal and his partner were extremely kind and helpful, always ready with great recommendations and support whenever needed. We originally planned a shorter visit but enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay (several times). The relaxed atmosphere, warm hospitality, and great location made it the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful time at Stay Golden. Angie and Rihan, the charming couple who owns the place, have created a small microcosmos with everything we needed. Other than going out to surf, we barely left the complex. Rihan gave the kids surfing lessons and pointed the more experienced surfers of our bunch to the right surfing spots. Thank you!

The biggest bed ever and very comfortable. Gardens are well taken care of and adds a nice privacy to the room. Very clean room and bathroom. We were greeted by amazing and super friendly hosts who gave us complementary coffee. Tuktuk parking behind a gate which was awesome for us. Very clean place and kitchen that you can use and store and cook food in if needed. We really loved our stay here. Host gave us great recommendations for food places and sight seeing. Babar Point offers 6 private and spacious bungalows with a large terrace and a view on the swimming pool. Each air-conditioned bungalow is equipped with free WiFi. In addition, each room has a large outdoor bathroom with 2 showers. Everything was perfect, and as always, everything started and ended with the people. Catherine and Michel are amazing people, with a huge heart and a big smile. Always ready to help, with good advice and help with the surfboards, renting a bike, renting a tuk-tuk or any other matter that makes an ordinary vacation so amazing. Another thing, the hotel staff, smiling, polite and kind. It is clear that the place is so important to them as if it were their own home. The place is meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail and this, in my experience, is extremely rare in Sri Lanka. The cabins are cozy, air-conditioned and ventilated. The beds are extremely comfortable, the showers are spacious and partially exposed to the sky and the coconut halves scattered around. Hot water 24/7 is simply magic. The pool is simply amazing, pleasant and clean at all times, spotless. The location - on the pottuvil Point strip and within walking distance of the point itself, which is one of the best in Sri Lanka. Even beginners will enjoy this beach. Even those who do not surf and want to relax will greatly enjoy the special and quiet location. The restaurant is run by a local family and serves varied and delicious food at completely reasonable prices and with meticulous service. You can eat in the restaurant or next to the room. In conclusion, my brother and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and I have no doubt that we will return to this magical place again.
