Together with several other guests, we still had a wonderful stay. The food is delicious, and the family helps you with everything you need. The rooms are simple but have everything you need. I would definitely recommend it!

Kaala Kalaththewa Luxury Eco Resort ligger i Anuradhapura, 6 km fra Attikulama Tank, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. It was exceptional. The staff was professional and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The whole resort was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. It's located in a small forest with butterflies, pheasants, a variety of wild birds and cute chickens. You can take a walk, play badminton, go to the nearby lake or visit the temples in anuradhapura or mihintale - it's very close. The hosts can arrange tours as well - we went to Anuradhapura with a guide and it was very fun and a fair price. Also the food: try the Sri Lankan breakfast it's delicious! We loved the tree house - it was so relaxing when it was rainy. They even offered room service. :) long story short - a must stay. Ps: please note that there is nature around. It's a tree house in a jungle-like forest. There are occasionally frogs and other visitors on your terrace. We loved it though.

I enjoyed every second at the hostel. The place is nicely decorated, people are friendly. I love the backyard. It’s like a little jungle with squirrels and birds. And across the backyard is the lake where you can enjoy beautiful sunrise and more birds. Definitely the best choice if you want to get to know more about Anuradhapura’s local lifestyle and close to nature.

The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and the accommodation is well located for visiting the sites of Anuradhapura. The hosts are incredibly generous and hospitable. They did everything to make us feel comfortable and helped us organize our visits. And above all, we had the best Sri Lankan breakfast of our entire trip!!! From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized by Buddika, who managed our transfers, meals, accommodation, and safari experience with incredible professionalism and kindness. He personally arranged our pick-up from Negombo, coordinated the drive to Wilpattu, and took care of every detail of our stay. The following day, we enjoyed a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, which I highly recommend! We were lucky enough to spot sloth bears, leopards, and elephants—a truly unforgettable experience. Moni Farmhouse is brand new and beautifully designed. It felt like staying in a private suite surrounded by nature, offering peace, comfort, and total immersion in the wilderness. All our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were freshly prepared and delicious. After our stay, Buddika also arranged our transfer to Anuradhapura, making everything seamless and stress-free. We are deeply grateful to Buddika for his warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Thanks to him, our journey through Sri Lanka started in the best possible way. Highly recommended!

The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owner was very welcoming and kind. She cooked us a delicious dinner. We enjoyed sitting out in the middle of the bush eating it.
