Great property and so far the best value for money we found in Sri Lanka! The staff was super helpful and friendly, it really showed that they care about the property as well as their guests. Room was spacious and clean, public areas very well maintained. We also booked a tour through the reception, they arranged a great driver for a beter price then what we could find online!

Que buena experiencia con esta famila. La casa es muy linda con una bonita terraza para desayunar o cenar. Las habitaciones limpias y espaciosas. La comida que ofrecen es deliciosa. No te aburrirás en tu estancia, el padre es un hombre cargado de sorpresas y magia hehe que te contará muchas cosas interesantes de Sri Lanka. We ate breakfast lunch and dinner here our entire stay because it was so well done - Fresh cut flowers in the room - Full luscious live plants in the bathroom to mimic the beauty out our front patio - Large fridge and coffee and tea amenities - Luxurious stand alone tub under a sky light was well used by me - Soft full towels and bathmats - Very large room and bathroom which were both SPOTLESSLY CLEAN - CLOSE to everything one travels to Anuradhapura to see; not close to the town, but no need to go to the town - Each unit has its own koi pond with plants But the best of all was the warm and genuine service. Truly a diamond.

I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

It was exceptional. The staff was professional and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The whole resort was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. It's located in a small forest with butterflies, pheasants, a variety of wild birds and cute chickens. You can take a walk, play badminton, go to the nearby lake or visit the temples in anuradhapura or mihintale - it's very close. The hosts can arrange tours as well - we went to Anuradhapura with a guide and it was very fun and a fair price. Also the food: try the Sri Lankan breakfast it's delicious! We loved the tree house - it was so relaxing when it was rainy. They even offered room service. :) long story short - a must stay. Ps: please note that there is nature around. It's a tree house in a jungle-like forest. There are occasionally frogs and other visitors on your terrace. We loved it though.

He personally arranged our pick-up from Negombo, coordinated the drive to Wilpattu, and took care of every detail of our stay. The following day, we enjoyed a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, which I highly recommend! We were lucky enough to spot sloth bears, leopards, and elephants—a truly unforgettable experience. Moni Farmhouse is brand new and beautifully designed. It felt like staying in a private suite surrounded by nature, offering peace, comfort, and total immersion in the wilderness. All our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were freshly prepared and delicious. After our stay, Buddika also arranged our transfer to Anuradhapura, making everything seamless and stress-free. We are deeply grateful to Buddika for his warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Thanks to him, our journey through Sri Lanka started in the best possible way. Highly recommended!
