Located in a lush green and serene environment, Hotel Heladiv is located 6 km away from the SLAF Anuradhapura Airport. Free WiFi access is available. We only stayed one night but the hotel was Excellent, clean and modern. The breakfast was good and plentiful and we had a great dinner there as well at a very Reasonable price.

Rohan and his family were welcoming and accommodating from the minute we arrived. It was truly like being part of their family the way they looked after us. The location was great and peaceful, and we were fed the most delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners…. Not to mention free drinking water to refill your bottles. It felt like coming home after a day of exploration to pure relaxation. We were sad to leave, and as we did we were given a parting gift, which was so special. Literally everything at this property was not just likeable but lovely. It's a cosy little haven in the middle of nowhere, hidden in the outskirts of the ancient city. The rooms are quite spacious and furnished with good quality fittings, and the garden is well maintained giving a homely vibe. The staff were excellent in all aspects, and the owners are leading by example. They are all true professionals with utmost courtesy. If you are looking for a place to stay relaxed and away from the city hustle and closer to the ancient city of Anuradhapura and the lush forests and lakes, this is hands down the best place to be. The food is also superb in terms of taste, presentation, and portion size.

The stay at Corner Cottage was the highlight of our trip. This young couple is welcoming and energetic to create an exceptional yet homey experience for tourists. Make sure you request dinner! Amazing food and with a tuk tuk on site it was so convenient to get a ride to the bus and our own tour!

The staff was professional and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The whole resort was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. It's located in a small forest with butterflies, pheasants, a variety of wild birds and cute chickens. You can take a walk, play badminton, go to the nearby lake or visit the temples in anuradhapura or mihintale - it's very close. The hosts can arrange tours as well - we went to Anuradhapura with a guide and it was very fun and a fair price. Also the food: try the Sri Lankan breakfast it's delicious! We loved the tree house - it was so relaxing when it was rainy. They even offered room service. :) long story short - a must stay. Ps: please note that there is nature around. It's a tree house in a jungle-like forest. There are occasionally frogs and other visitors on your terrace. We loved it though.

Impeccably clean rooms and a stunning new rooftop terrace provided a delightful breakfast in the morning and a cozy spot for evening beers with a view. The family's warmth and friendliness were the perfect finishing touch! Would highly recommend!!!

It’s very calm and peaceful. The house is also very clean and spacious. The caretaker, Sadi (I hope I spelled the name correctly), is a super nice guy and always ready to help. He makes staying here even more special. Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here. It is also possible to organize a safari trip. The price seems fair, and the driver will pick you up directly from the house. I was very satisfied with how well it was organized.

The resort is located immediately outside the National Park, so the location is perfect. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The area is quiet and you can hear the birds and the jungle sounds (we even heard an elephant!) The resort is family run and the host, his wife and two sons were very friendly and helpful. The meals were good and (very) plentiful. We enjoyed a safari in the park with the host and there are walking paths on the lake outside the park where we saw lots of birds. Overall a great experience.
