We had a fantastic stay! The staff was really nice and friendly. The manager arranged our safari, a tuktuk ride to see a local ceremony in the village and a car ride to Mirissa. Also, we got to see the cinnamon and fruit/vegetable garden. We had amazing homemade breakfast, lunch and dinner for a very fair price. The room was spacious and clean. Further, the location of the hotel next to the rice fields is amazing. It's nice to go for a walk and you have a great view from the garden and balcony. We can highly recommend staying here!

I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

They even accommodated our driver. The private villa is beautiful with comfortable beds (on second floor), modern bathroom with natural roof light and a cozy living room. We even had the luxury of a private pool, but otherwise there is a lovely common pool. Overall best stay so far in Sri Lanka with excellent service!!

It is a lovely family business, located in nature and very close to the famous Budurugawala rock carvings. Shalika and his family are perfect hosts. The cabin is great and the environment is very peaceful. The beds were really comfortable and super clean. The food they served is amazing and they the ingredients are harvested by the hosts. It was an amazing experience. They also provide transportation service. Highly recommended!
