We loved the accommodation, with a beautiful terrace at the front overlooking nature and the sunset. The owner was helpful in arranging a safari and for advising restaurants in the neighbourhood for take away (so we could it with the beautiful view). The sanitaire was clean.

It seems there was a problem ,ith our booking so we got upgraded to a family room (instead of the budget triple room we booked). The room was so perfect : huge and high ceiling, nice beds, beautiful wooden furnitures. Big window so you can enjoy the garden with a lot of light (early morning also !! Cause the curtain are nice but not lifht proof!). The bathroom is perfectly clean, big, hot water. The food is good but expensive, if you are used to the normal srilanka price, ask before dinner to check if it's ok for you.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated guest house set in Kataragama, 21 km from Situlpawwa. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Whioe experience is amazing. The facilities are wonderful, very tidy and clean. We visited the spice garden. The staff is incredible. They organized the safari for us, with pickup and dropoff at their hotel. The food is the best we tasted in Sri Lanka. They impressed us with buffalo yogurt and honey for dessert. For finish, they provided us the taxi to our next destination. Highly recommend them.

My hosts couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome. They are kind and generous. As a single female traveller I felt very secure in their compound. I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

The room was spotlessly clean, and the furniture was tastefully decorated. We were given a free room upgrade. The property's beautiful lake in front added to its charm. The Western and Sri Lankan food we enjoyed during our stay was outstanding. The owner of the property is very kind and personally ensures that guests are comfortable. She helped us book a Yala safari with a professional naturalist. We will definitely return. This property is a gem, and with the first-class service of the staff, there's no need to look further. We highly recommend staying at this property if you plan to visit Block 5 in Yala, as it is closer to Block 5.

The hotel features city views, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. We came to Kataragama for 2 days of a full day safari tour. The place is simple, clean and ideal for that 2 -3 nights stay close to the Yala National Park.. There is no hot water, but the weather was so hot that we won't need that.

The place is new and one of the nicest we have been to in Srilanka. Sam welcomed us with fresh mango juice from his garden. The next day he showed us all the fruit trees around his place, rice fields and natural pool where you can swim. We had an amazing breakfast at his restaurant. On our wish he even prepared us wood apple juice which was delicious. For a local experience of Srilanka we highly recommend Sam's Stay.

With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel has a terrace and a bar. The property is non-smoking and is located 17 km from Tissa Wewa. The staff were very helpful & always happy to fullfill our needs and requests.Malintha was very welcoming & always made sure we were comfortable & happy. Nilmini, Pradeep & the rest of the staff always made us feel at home. The food was delicious, especially the buffet breakfast. Pradeep made special Sri lankan breakfast for us. The service was exceptional & 5 star rating. Credit to Malintha for managing the hotel to the standard it is providing it's guests. I'll recommend Kynrock hotel to anyone who wants a 5 star experience down south. A beautiful & memorable stay for my family. Will go back next time without a doubt.
