The property is in a small village in the nature, you are really close to the village itself but the property feels like miles away and is so peaceful. The property is simple but clean and has all necessary amendities. Prasad was the best host we ever had, every question and concern or request was adressed immediately. He arranged a tranfers and safari for us for very a reasonable price. His family provides delicious breakfast and dinner if requested which was a real taste of Sri Lanka.

Mailagama Cinnamon Residence situa-se em Kataragama, a 21 km de Situlpawwa e a 22 km de Tissa Wewa. The property was well maintained and managed well from all aspects. The staff was very helpful especially mr. Inbarajah. They also helped us cook our own vegetarian food at a separate place near dining area.

Great check-in experience with king coconut water. The staff was very responsive and proactive with regards to getting to the location as its in a remote area. Rooms were very beautiful - free standing building, high ceilings, nice bathroom.

Com vista da piscina, Tranquil Wild localiza-se em Tanamalwila e possui um restaurante, serviço de quartos, snack-bar, jardim, piscina exterior aberta todo o ano e terraço. Tranquil wild lived up to its name. It is right next to a lake with water buffalo in it. There are heaps of birds including peacocks and hornbills in the garden plus lots of monkeys, squirrels and lizards around. The garden is huge with mature trees and plenty of space. You can walk beside the lake and do a little exploring, really nice at sun rise or sunset. The swimming pool was excellent for a bit of relaxing. Anne and Amal were fantastic hosts answering all our questions and organizing our safari and other activities. I recommend having Amal on your safari. He is full of info and has a big camera lens to get those close ups the cellphones can't do. Their safaris go into block 5 and 6 which are a lot quieter ( in terms of jeep numbers) than the main Yala block 1. We saw elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, lots of birds, and 2 leopards. Also if you have the chance to have dinner and bonfire down by the lake shore then do it, we got lucky with a stunning night and full moon rising. The food, including breakfast was really good. If you are looking for somewhere to relax with nature then this is it.

The room was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely return.

Kynrock is a chain across Sri Lanka but this location had just opened about 6 weeks before our stay. It is right outside of Yala which was perfect. There were only about 8 people staying in the hotel that night and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time - they had poolside beers for us and brought in a chef to make personalized dinners for the 8 of us (since there was no buffet because it is so new and there is no one staying there). They were so happy to have us and the experience was truly special.
