The manager went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable—organizing a perfectly tailored sightseeing tour of the ancient city, an incredible safari, and even a seamless transfer to Negombo. Every driver arranged for us was superb: professional, kind, and genuinely wonderful to interact with. Our time at Wildescape exceeded every expectation. The combination of incredible hospitality, impeccable service, and genuine warmth made this one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Lake Cabin está ubicado en Polonnaruwa, a 2,5 km de Gal Viharaya y a 2,9 km de Polonnaruwa Vatadage. El alojamiento ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado. Everything was great. Both cabins are very neat and clean and cozy with charming views on the lake. Dinner and breakfast were delightful. What makes it special is a fact that you can rent bikes and explore Polonnaruwa by yourself (or with the great host). There are many monkeys, birds and cows around. We slept like babies, no mosquitos.

I've stayed at many guest houses, but this is by far the calmest and most peaceful place I've ever booked. The owner is very kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. The rooms are spotless, and the facilities are excellent for the price. It's also conveniently located close to Parakrama Samudra (just 1.8 km away). I truly enjoyed my freedom here, and this stay has become one of the most unforgettable journeys I've had. If you're looking for a budget-friendly place that is clean, calm, and comfortable, there's simply no better choice than this!

Beautiful location, very comfy bed and such friendly hosts! I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to go to Polonnarawu. It’s very affordable and the location is right next to the ancient city. You can get a bicycle to get around. The food is amazing, the wife of the host is a truly amazing chef. Every night we would go for a little wild life walk, free of charge! He also helped me to arrange a safari tour, which was very affordable; I was by myself and I paid the entrance fee and I had a my own driver/guide and in total I did not spend more than €75,-!! I would recommend everyone going here!
