The staff were all super friendly and wonderful and the room was very clean with a beautiful bathroom with a great shower. The safari organised by the hotel was great with delicious food provided. The dinner provided was a fantastic Sri Lankan buffet with many tasty local dishes prepared and presented by our host. The location is very close to the national park so does not take long to get there with the safari tour. The rooms are well sealed with an air con and we didn't have any bugs or mosquitoes get into our room which was fantastic. We also got a free room upgrade with thr accomodation having an available room which was appreciated greatly.

The staff were outstanding, so friendly and helpful, the restaurant was great and breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Lastly, the location is brilliant, right on the beach with a great view.

We really had the best time here in the middle of nowhere close to the Wilpattu National Park. The staff is really helpfull and very friendly, the rooms are right into nature but still have the luxury of having warm water and AC, great and an extended breakfast and dinner, I can go on and on. If you want to go on a safari at Wilpattu they can arrange a private jeep for you (which is a must do ofcourse). Further to fill in your time you can just hang out at the beautifull chillspots on the ponds or in the jungle or you could go kayaking with the kayaks available at the lodge. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the lodge a little more.

It was nice and comfortable to stay there. 5/5 breakfast was very tasty and there was gluten free option for me:) highly recommend this place

Anawasal offers lagoon front accommodation and yoga classes in Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site. It is located at a-minute walk away from the Rascals kite surfing school where you can rent equipment, learn how to kite surf and free boat transfer to main kite surfing beach. Yoga classes are available at an extra cost. I can absolutely recommend this place. Shibi, Dinesh & the team make sure that you have everything you need, without being to pushy. I extended my stay, because I felt so relaxed and comfortable here. The food is great :)
