Guests can access the campground via private entrance. Absolutely superb experience- our tented home opened every morning to a stunning African savanna vista. We had a waterhole on our doorstep, where we were able to see wild horses frolicking as the sunset. Sunrise, sunset and the sky of stars are something to behold. Camp Gecko provides a quiet space to absorb the beauty of Africa and Namibian. It is close enough to Solitaire, your one dtoo for all but also far enough to truly experience the African bush. Staff were amazing and their varied braai packs were greatly appreciated. A cannot recommend Camp Gecko enough. We will be back.

Amazing place. Really nice lodge with a waterhole where you can enjoy your beer watching animals. Around 7pm 3 rinos, springboks, zebras and other animals were all there . Just a few meters from you. Dinner was super delicious. The stuff was really helpful

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park.

Overlooking the plains, the spacious and rustic-style chalets have a fixed structure with canvas partitions. Each is equipped with a small patio, a shower, a fan, linen and towels. Everything. The staff were lovely, friendly and fun. The food was so good, well presented. Two evenings we had bbq in a lovely outdoor space and the other evening a special dinner on the patio overlooking the Plains. Went on two trips, an excursion to soussusvlei and a sundowner trip to watch the sunset from a great viewpoint. Even had time to spend an afternoon by the pool. A great, relaxing few days in the middle of our holiday.

The African themed rooms are fitted with air conditioning and offer views of the indigenous garden. The private bathroom comes with a shower and towels. The lodge is conveniently located near Solitaire and served as our starting point for exploring Sossusvlei. It’s truly a beautiful oasis in the middle of the savannah, where the boundary between the wild and the lodge grounds practically disappears. The design of both the accommodations and the entire property is very authentic. Dinners and breakfasts were exceptionally delicious, and the staff was attentive and welcoming.
