The location was superb, very near to the central walking street, Central Square and restaurant areas. Breakfast was simple but nice and thoughtful. Unlike many other dorms, the blackout of the morning sun was excellent. Adequate bathroom and toilet facilities. Met great people. Good living room common area and kitchen area.Overall, very comfortable. Great value!

This was one of my favorite hotels ever. Aptly named, the hotel is set in a hidden, lush garden. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy. Wifi is strong and stable. The location is a few mins walk from the city center, a bit dark at night (like everywhere), but safe. Breakfast offers three choices, I tried them all and they were all excellent. The hotel offers a free walking tour and can arrange excursions at a reasonable price for you - all worked out perfectly. Staff is extraordinary - especially the front office folks are incredibly sweet, exceptionally helpful and also speak excellent English. I had an issue with an onward trip and they did everything they could to help me fix it. Charlie the cat - who loves cuddles - is a bonus. I loved every minute here and would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

The owner and his wife are so friendly and helpful- nothing was too much trouble. They gave us advice on places to go and eat. The gardens are gorgeous- they grow their own fruits, we even saw a hummingbird! All the staff are extremely friendly. The pool is fabulous to relax around and everywhere is scrupulously clean. A little walk into town- but we felt totally safe and it gave a real insight into how the locals lived- they couldn’t have been friendlier. Come in Brits- visit Nicaragua. It’s beautiful and has everything for a great holiday at superb prices. And stay at this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the room was so comfortable with a beautiful view of the church and sunset, the food in the restaurant was delicious and had excellent coffee. Perfect location.
