Shortly after booking a room Shardul reached out to us and provided us with travel information. Once in Nepal our plans changed and Shardul was very helpful in picking us up and accommodating us an extra night. Upon arrival we immediately felt very welcomed and comfortable at this lovely homestay! Everyday Shardul and his family provided us with delicious Nepali meals made from the fresh vegetables and fruits from their garden. Thanks to the preparation and attention to detail there was always enough variety of food even on the long safari days. Our absolute highlight in Bardia was going on jeep and walking safaris with Shardul himself. With his professional experience and a bit of luck on our side, we were fortunate to spot the elusive tiger! Shardul’s competence in his profession and passion for wildlife conservation made us feel safe while out in the jungle. We regret having to leave and hope to be back in the future! Wild Planet Eco Retreat ligger i Bhurkīā og har gratis cykler, have, et fælles opholdsområde og terrasse. På dette overnatningssted er der en bar og en række vandsportsfaciliteter. Felt very welcome, simple accommodation but very functional, and in a beautiful setting, a really short walk from the park gates and village. Baba and team were amazing and extremely knowledgeable and helpful with planning onwards journey. It was great to chat and hear about all the amazing work going into education and conservation, it was great to support this.

You become one of the Family at Golden River, I had such a fantastic time here, a wonderful family led by Pappu, Incredible guide, the most delicious food & the best location 😍😍 I saw so many birds just sat on the porch drinking Masala Chai, Recommend to anyone who wants to fulfill their dreams of seeing the wildlife & experience the warmth & hospitality of a great local family, & yes, I saw 3 Tigers amongst so much other wildlife!!!! 😍😍🐯🐯😍😍

The most lovely hotel I’ve visited in Nepal. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a special mention for the bed that felt like a piece of heaven. The food was just crazily good, coming directly from the garden and offering us a glimpse of the wonderful Nepalese cooking. Shreedhar and his stepmom were very helpful and always keen to provide us with tea or useful insights on the Nepalese rural lifestyle. We were also getting involved in some tasks, such as cooking, milking the cow, or preparing butter, which were wonderful experiences that we did not expected to try there. As for the jungle walks, Binay was a very good guide with an impressive knowledge of Bardia NP (his ability to recognize every single song of the jungle was beyond possible, I swear). We didn’t get to see the tiger but we saw multiple rhinos and crocodiles. Overall, I would definitely recommend to stay there at least a few nights to share the way of life of these wonderful people, and experience a part of Nepal that’s a bit unknown compared to the world famous Himalaya.

A beautiful property and lovely guest house very close to the bardiya national park entrance. The Cabins are big and cozy, each one quite far from the other so you get a lot of privacy and all around there are only trees and grass. It feels like really living in nature and not in a resort. The common dinning area is very nice, facing a beautiful river, and the food is good. Krishna and his wife are great hosts and they offer a lot of options to experience the park. Overall, a really amazing value-for-money place in bardiya

Bardia Riverside View Park Resort - FR and EN speaking ligger i Bhurkīā og har en have, terrasse og bar samt gratis wi-fi. 10/10 stay! We had such a lovely time at this resort. The facilities were very clean and comfortable - really great value. The gardens and terrace were so so nice to sit out and relax, read, or play cards. The food was always delicous. We also really enjoyed the sunrise from the deck! The location was perfect. Only 5 minutes from the park entrance. But my favourite was the riverfront spot to watch the sunset. We actually saw 3 tigers on our first day here only a 15 minute walk from the resort! Amazing!! Anil was very welcoming and available to assist at any time and was very pleasant to deal with. He arranged for a jeep safari into the jungle which we loved as well as a night in a treehouse in the jungle - super cool! We stayed for a week but wish we had longer.

We made the booking thinking we would be there purely for the jungle and the safari, but in reality we got so much more than that. Every member of the team - all beautiful and extremely kind persons - is working tirelessly to provide the highest quality. Every small detail is thought through: from de delicious meals and snacks during the safaris, to the cleanliness & cosyness of the bungalows and bar/chill area, the flexibility in organisation of the safaris, the sustainability of the lodge (not just hollow words, but real impactful actions), and so on. Pramesh is a passionate storyteller and during the communal dinners, which we loved, we learned so many things about the national park and the surroundings, its conservation and life in the village. For us, coming from Belgium where real nature is very scarse, it’s wonderful to see how life in a village is intertwined with that of the jungle and its wildlife. It’s difficult to describe in words how grateful we feel about everything we experienced here, but one thing is sure and that is that Sunsetview is one of the most special places we have ever stayed in. Initially we planned to be there for six days, we ended up staying nine and we still left with a heavy heart. Big thanks to Pramesh & Noémie, Anit, Amrit, Jogot and Anita (and little Paris of course). You guys really inspired us. Because of everything what you do, the world gets to be a better place. Keep up the fantastic work! We hope to see you all again in the future.

Very nice vibe and great to relax. You can arrange a lot of activities to the national park such as walking and jeep safari and bird watching. The owner Sonya is super helpful and kind. I really enjoyed the 6 nights I stayed here.

Everything , the hole family was very warm and welcoming from day 1 until i left, stayed here 3 weeks and did some trips into the djungel, saw many tigers, leopards, elephants really really good for wildlife! Would deffently stay here again and the hugh garden is so amazing!! With alot of birds fruits, veggies etc.

Jungle Base Camp ligger i Bardia og har en have. Her er en terrasse, gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. Alle enheder hos pensionatet har en balkon med udsigt til en have. The accommodations were very nice for my safari days in BNP, Hakum was a very good guide , I did one day in a jeep, and two walking. Unfortunately didn’t sight a tiger this time, there were prints, markings , and scat everywhere we walked. . The home cooked meals were very satisfying after a long day on the trail.
