Kwabahal Boutique Hostel was my preferred accomodation in Kathmandu. Simply because the location was perfect. It is tucked-in in an alley and it has a nice garden/cafe to relax in. The street sound is muted so one can enjoy the serenity of the place. Secondly, all the staff display such heartwarming hospitality with endless smiles. A huge plus for me was also the clean and spotless showers and toilets, the cleanest by far during my visit in Nepal.

LOCATION: the hotel got a central location in thamel area, it is near shops, restaurant, coffee shop, clothers shop for trekking. for going some temples maybe you need to take taxi, there are also close around 5km to go. facilities is quite new because the hotel just opens in 8 months. the hotel also is very quiet, it is very good.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is good quality. It is in a quiet location in Thamel, and an easy walk to the the main shopping areas. We will be back!
