For the sporty types, it is close to the hiking/cycling trails and a visit to nearby Cromwell is worthwhile, especially the Goldfields Mining Centre where you can learn all about the 1860s gold rush. Finally, there is winery that you can visit within a kilometer!

One of the real highlights is the breakfast – a massive bonus that sets this place apart. It’s clear a lot of care and thought goes into every detail, and it shows. I’ll definitely be back again.
