Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. Steve the host was great, very friendly, brought his highland cows down in the morning for me to meet. His dog Aggi was also very sweet, hung out with me for a while on the porch. Highly recommend this retreat.

The room is comfortable and kept it warm (we stayed in May). Cindy and Schalk are amazing! For us who are super shy, they explained us everything and made us feel welcome. The toilet is not in the room, but is just for you so it was perfect. You can use the kitchen if you like and there is a lot of space for parking. Last but not least, the view from the room is amazing!

Great place to stay .All three of us happy with all aspects of this place

The apartment also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. It felt safe, it had a great location, independent from the main house and with full breakfast included

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. This was such a lovely stay. Bruce and Teresa were very welcoming and sent good instructions on how to get there. They were available if needed but not overbearing. The shop / cafe on site was beautiful with some amazing cakes on offer. The rooms and kitchen area were very clean with lovely decor. We honestly can’t fault our stay here at all and would be recommending to anyone visiting the forest around there.
