There was a lot of food, we felt a little guilty that we couldn't eat it all. The host is very honest. Price for apartments and dinner was very affordable.

They made sure we had a good time. The location is amazing and well worth the drive. I wish I could spend few more days there. The host organised barbecue and that was delicious. Escape to SAMA Heights Resort, a haven of tranquility nestled at the foot of the majestic South Mountain Summit (W4). Our resort is a mere stone's throw from the breathtaking Grand Canyon of the Middle East, offering unparalleled views and experiences. The location is fantastic. Honestly we didn’t understand people who complained on the food options, the choice was good enough even for our little daughter. My only advice would be to rent 4WD to get there just to feel more secure while driving. We went by Mazda 6 - managed to get there, thankfully, the roads were dry in April. There are some men on the way to Sama Heights trying to “warn” you that these steep roads will kill you car, be cautious since they want you to hire their SUV to drive you to the resort but that is really not necessary. This was basically the only problem in Oman - the drivers who are quite aggressively hunting poor tourists with saloon cars.

The hotel is new and all clean with modern finishings. With the value I paid it was an excellent experience. Staff were friendly enough and did not experience any issues. Corridors were noisy as families were staying in some rooms but the room itself was very quite even though it was facing the main road.
