The view from the garden suite is perfect. We didn’t regret not booking the mountain view suite because you can see mountains from all sides. The experience of staying in the shipping containers was so fun, but do note that there are heavy winds at night so bring ear plugs. The staff were so wonderful, very friendly and helped us organize a waterfall hike and drive down to the town. We loved eating at the restaurant Las Nubes close by and it was convenient to have breakfast there. Very peaceful experience and nice to have a bathroom attached, although expect a bit of dirt on the floor of the room. The complementary coffee was a nice touch to enjoy from the balcony with a view.

Loved the weekend breakfast buffet, it was so extensive and had incredible quality. And also really enjoyed the free minibar drinks and free evening rooftop drinks!

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, making this the most memorable accommodation of our trip. Bret's kindness and engaging conversations added a personal touch to our experience. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and shared fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, which turned out to be some of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Noah, Bret’s friendly dog, was a highlight of our stay. Whether it was playtime or cuddles, Noah’s cheerful presence brought so much joy and comfort. It felt like staying with family rather than at a typical lodging. The combination of thoughtful hospitality, meaningful interactions, and a welcoming atmosphere made this stay exceptional. We left with fond memories and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Panama. Thank you, Bret and Noah, for making our trip so special!

We were welcomed by the kindest hosts we ever met, Ayled and Gilberto are very friendly and helped us a lot. The view from the house is phenomenal (overlooking the valley). It is peaceful and quiet. The room was amazing, especially the view. We could also use the well equipped kitchen to prepare food which helped a lot. The tap water (drinkable, filtered) comes from the mountain and tastes great.

Everything was amazing, the place was very beautiful, the staff and service were extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious every day. Loved everything about Casa Madre Tierra. T and T was a great get-away with wonderful hosts, great breakfasts, and terrific location on the beach with little tables and chairs where you could sit and read without getting all sandy. We really liked the communal feel while having privacy in our air-conditioned room. We had a private bathroom outside our room. Wine, beer, and snacks were available basically at cost so very convenient. Water available and a fridge. The ocean water was great for swimming and floating with mild waves and a sandy bottom. Pascal offered a great massage and Vincent good humor. Restaurant and beach bar right next door that you can reach by sand or by road. Value was excellent.

We were tucked away with our private garden with a couple of adirondack chairs to enjoy the fresh air and views of surrounding mountains. The kitchen looked well stocked, but we didn't use it since we were there for only 1 night. Warm water in the bathroom and good water pressure. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer...but we will be back when we have more time. The host was very kind and helpful...she even helped me carry my bags to the room since I have to use a cane to walk.
