We came without any big expectations, but this hotel turned out to be the best choice! Built and maintained at high European standards, this hotel offers a very pleasant stay, away from the city, which can be a bit too chaotic. There is absolutely nothing negative to write about this hotel, but let me touch on some negative comments about the distance and road from the center of Bocas. The hotel is 10km from the city Centre amid in the nature, something we really appreciated. There is a cheap bus available about 6 times a day, we also rented bikes just around the corner or used taxi. I can imagine that a drunk taxi ride back to this hotel in the night can be uncomfortable, but if you are this kind of traveler, then probably this is just not the right place for you. The staff ist very present and helpful, all speak fluently English (this is not self explanatory here!). The hotel is new, better than many others here around and it looks like in the pictures (or even nicer!). The food is freshly prepared three times a day and better than anyplace else we ate! Especially the green Thai curry was amazing. There is fresh water available all the time and they offer good Cocktails. The Bluff beach is just across the “road” and is probably one of the nicest beaches we visited, with very few tourists. We felt really safe all the time. Sloths, monkeys, frogs, birds and small crabs can be observed directly from the hotel garden. Price-value is just on spot! Other guests were also nice and calm, the atmosphere was very warm and friendly the whole time of our stay.

The affordability of these gourmet experiences was the cherry on top, providing exceptional value for money. The hotel's design ingeniously balances social interaction and private tranquility. At the hotel most rooms are fitted with a balcony with sea view. Rooms come complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, while some rooms at Divers Paradise Boutique Hotel also boast a seating area. At the accommodation, rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Due to a big delay we arrived late, but they were very responsive and arranged everything. We wanted to stay one extra night, not a problem at all. Also on our last day I had a dive in the morning and they let me shower in the room afterwards! Breakfast is great and also very nice you can borrow bikes, snorkeling gear or the kayaks to go to one of the floating bars nearby.

The service provided by Alex and Choy was absolutely impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed in the most incredible and personalized way, with a special touch: our names were displayed on a welcome sign—a thoughtful detail that made all the difference. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal was a true delight. We stayed in a room with a jungle view, and hearing the soothing sounds of the animals was a unique and relaxing experience. The service was flawless, whether at the tables, on the beach, or by the pool. Everything was designed to make us feel pampered at all times. I highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation, and we will definitely be returning!

Situated within a few steps of Istmito and less than 1 km of Y Griega Beach, Santuarios del Mar provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bocas del Toro. Loved sitting on the terrace with a cold beer overlooking the Caribbean sea and watching the sunset 😎. You can hire paddle boards/ canoes & take them straight into the water from the pier. Bikes also available to hire. Rebecca was a great host & always available to help with any questions. The owner, Sterling, was a top bloke who kindly dropped us back at the airport! It’s about a 20 min walk to town or you can jump in a taxi for $1 each. (During the day walk along the beach to cut the corner off & avoid the traffic on the main road)

Some units feature views of the sea or garden. Great accommodation between sea and jungle, away from the city hustle. The only sound you hear are the sea waves and birds. The room was spacious and comfortable, the patio with kitchen was a huge plus, especially during rainy days. We loved that they changed our bed sheets every 2 days, which nowadays doesn't happen even in 4 or 5-star hotels. Nadia and Salvatore go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. They gave us a lot of tips for our tours and ways to explore the island. I can definitely recommend this place and would book it again!
