The hosts were so kind, gave us loads of information and even took us on a small tour of some nearby islands. The food was amazing! Very generous portion sizes and they were able to cater to a vegetarian diet. It was cold in the lodge but we always had plenty of blankets, a heater, hot water and hot water bottles to keep us warm so it was never a problem. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

This is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed in - the hotel has just one room and is located on a man made reed island floating on Lake Titicaca. Walter was very helpful - we had a few changes in our itinerary, due to transport problems, and he was very helpful in allowing us to change our booking dates. The room was spacious with amazing lake views though the floor to ceiling windows. The meals were also very good. Please note you need to pay in cash and there are no ATM near the property (obviously!), so bring sufficient cash with you

Hos "Casa de Valentin" i Llachon er der bjergudsigt, en have, et privat strandområde og en restaurant. Landstedet har både gratis wi-fi og privat parkering. This place is so beautiful. Definitely worth staying here for few days. The family is so lovely, kind and helpful. They also organized a trip to Taquile island and Uros Titino island for me, with small private boat for very reasonable price. Breakfast is included in price, they also offer lunch and dinner (20 soles per meal at the time of visit). Sometimes they skip the lunch due to a lot of work they have. Jesus (son of Valentin) also explained what is possible to do there, because there are nice places to walk around Llachon peninsula. You can also rent a kayak. Rooms are spacious and clean, with hot water, internet is working quite good. Be aware that it can get pretty cold there, especially during the night. But they have very thick duvets and extra thick blankets.

Titicaca We, a Family of four (2 kids, 14 years and 12 years) stayed 2 nights at the lovely Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge. The house we stayed in is very comfortabel and nicely decorated. The bathroom is basic. Eddy, his parents and sisters did their utmost to make our stay as memorable as possible. Breakfast and dinner is very tasteful and they also took the allergy of our son into account. There are no functional wall sockets in the house so take into account to charge you devices prior to your stay and possibly use power banks. We had issues charging our camera but Eddy’s father helped us out and charged the battery for us. We also booked a tour to Tanquile island. It was nice but a little too touristy for us. A long boat trip and the dancing with locals felt little authentic. We could possibly have better chosen the Uros tour with Eddy. At the end of our stay they also helped us with organizing a driver from Puno to Yanque. To summarize, we loved our stay at this breathtaking place with Eddy and his family.

Uros Samarana Uta Lodge ligger i Puno og har solterrasse og bjergudsigt. Titicaca-søen ligger 7 km fra overnatningsstedet. Caesar was incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience special. The views of Lake Titicaca at sunrise and sunset were beautiful, and the view right outside the room was unforgettable. The bed on the porch was amazing. Caesar went out of his way many times to make our stay perfect — bringing a kayak to our room, answering questions quickly, arranging transportation for another tour, and even taking us on a private tour of one of his family's islands to show how the Uros islands are built and lived on. It was a truly authentic and memorable experience.

Uros Qhantany Lodge ligger på de flydende øer i Uros, 5 km uden for Puno-kysten, og tilbyder indkvartering midt i Titicaca-søen. Puno-kysten ligger 30 minutters sejlads derfra. What an incredible experience staying in this unique location! A family run hotel on a genuine floating island, Wilbur and Delia treat you like their own family. We stayed two nights and this really allowed us to enjoy the beautiful location and community. The room is beautiful, with embroidered hangings made by Delia. Very cosy bed with a view to die for, made better by the hot water bottles placed in the bed while you have dinner. Simply can't say enough how much we enjoyed this stay. Great breakfast and good value dinner.

Uros Titicaca Kurmi lodge ligger i Puno. Her er gratis wi-fi, en have, en terrasse og en restaurant. Perfect location to stay. Most friendly host. Breakfast and dinner prepared with love. Excellent room - big and most lovely view on the lake.

They picked us up in the harbour and took us to their island. The lodge is beautiful, very spacious, the bed is huge and the views were incredible. There is a heater if you are cold. Upon request thay take care of a great breakfast and dinner and take you for a boatride around the islands. They helped us arrange a transfer to Taquile island as well. For the communication Spanish is necessary.

Titicaca Maya Lodge Perú ligger i Puno, kun 6,6 km fra Estadio Enrique Torres Belón. Her er en have, en terrasse og roomservice. Der er privat parkering mod et ekstra gebyr. We loved absolutely everything. The room, the food, the veiws, all the little duckies. I only wish we stayed two or three nights, instead of one! We had the most relaxing time lying on the outdoor bed watching the birds and reading. As mentioned in prior comments, payment is in cash and there are a few extra minimal costs. Communicate prior to your stay to find out the total cost including extra meals and boat taxi so you can have the soles you need, plus extra for purchasing some of Elena's amazing weave work! Get the add-on lunch and dinner! So worth it. Thank you Paulo and Elena 🙏💛
