Kitchen is really well equiped, you have everything you might need, there is even an airfrier. The whole accomodation has a lot of small details and you can easily notice all the love that was put into decorating the whole house. There is also some wine available to purchase in the apartment in case you miss the open time of the supermarket :) A lot of information about the island and some island maps are also available. There is also a big balcony with the direct view on Pico island and Pico mountain. Free parking is available on site. Good location, a few min drive from the airport and port. Staff is also really nice. Very responsive and kind.

We felt like at home. The room is good and the bed is comfy. It’s a house with history - don’t miss the small tour in the house and around - it’s really impressive. We loved the breakfast. They even make eggs from their own chickens, and home made yoghurts and jams. Catarina also gave us a lot of good recommendations for what to see on the island and great restaurants. Do not worry that it’s next to the airport: there are only a couple of planes per day landing. It’s so far the best stay I ever had while traveling in Portugal (and I’ve been to Portugal like 20+times :)

The terrace has a really nice view overlooking Pico. we really enjoyed our stay. We only had contact with the host via message. you’ll get a key code to check in. This is the kind of check in we prefer. You don’t need to let the host know when exactly you’ll arrive. because you can come in to the house yourself. The host responds really quick if you have a question or need something.

The rooms and bathroom are clean, comfortable, and well-kept, offering full privacy, while the shared kitchen and terrace are spacious and thoughtfully designed – perfect both for relaxing on your own or, if you feel like it, interacting with neighbors. Everything is tastefully decorated and modern, and the kitchen truly feels like home. A lovely touch – fresh eggs and fruits. The town of Urzelina itself is beautifully maintained, with a scenic and well-developed cycling and walking path along the coast that stretches almost all the way to Velas Airport. Overall, we really enjoyed São Jorge Island and will definitely return.

Amazing place, with a lot of soul. The views and the surrounding areas are exceptional. The bio farm is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained and you can really feel the care and passion the family puts into everything they do. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. The highlight was definitely the fresh homemade bread they bake for all the guests, which was delicious! A perfect mix of comfort, authenticity, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!
