The winter scenery was stunning with sunset on the frozen river. Location is great, very close to Umeå, yet already quite wild with immediate access to the river and the forest with several Nordic ski trails. The house is tiny but comfy with all you need for a short stay. The landlord lives in the house next to it, very friendly.

The accommodation was incredibly cozy, and everything was beautifully prepared when we arrived. You could really feel the attention to detail – even a little piece of chocolate was waiting for us on the pillow, which was such a thoughtful touch. The host was very friendly and communicative, and it was easy to get quick responses to any questions we had. That made us feel really welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The house itself was spacious, beautifully furnished, and surrounded by stunning nature – perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of Lapland.

Lots of cleaning items and extra things in cupboards to help the stay run smooth. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone as it’s excellent value and a great place all round. The owner was always responsive on messages and proactive in sending all the information for a smooth checkin and stay.

Everything you need for your Swedish retreat.
