Dating back to 1852, this elegant hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Gothenburg Central Station. It offers a peaceful inner courtyard, free WiFi and free coffee/tea and homemade cakes each afternoon. Unique appearance and experience, personal approach to every single need of guest! Hotel is family owned and they are in business for 140 years! It is not mistake, you can check it on their website. Something very important to me is how clean it is, and it is super clean and I also saw some guests walking around only in socks which is amazing! Ambient is very warm and welcoming, personnel is extremely professional, warm and polite, with great knowledge about all things you might have questions about.

The cabin was perfect with everything that I could need. It was very spacious with a great sea view. Kitchen had all the utensils I could need from a water kettle for tea to a dishwasher. I travelled alone with the goal of disconnection and relaxation but there is enough space to a larger group of people. The location is perfect, the shop (ICA) is near and within walking distance from the pier where the ferry leaves you or a bust stop. Best of all, the location between Hönö and Öckero islands. This way one can go hiking north to Öckero and Hälsö one day and another day go south to hike around Hönö and Fotö.

The house is very cozy and quiet, even more beautiful than we expected. The owners are lovely and they offer a service to take you to the airport (just 15 minutes by car). We spent there just one night but we would have liked to stay longer!

The chalet was very well equipped , with tea , sugar , coffee etc left for us , which was very kind . The beds were large and comfortable and the shower was excellent .

You can learn to make a ceramic mug, because they have a small workshop there, and you can also learn about garden plants.
