We had a lovely stay at Valdivia Homes, the cabin is cozy and clean, the terrace has great views to the jungle and the sea. The WiFi is really good, as well as the hot water in the shower! Joaquim and Rita were very helpful during our stay, they helped us with the airport pick up and with the moto rental.

A dream destination with it's dream accomodation. There isn't one thing that we would of changed. In the most beautiful setting surrounded by nature and with the most beautiful view. We were lucky enough to have the monkeys visit early morning, such an amazing experience. The local beach is only a 5 min walk away and it's lovely and calm to have a nice refreshing dip. The owner Rita was very responsive and helpful with anything we asked. She gave us such great information which was greatly appreciated. Then there's Joaquim, what a man. He looks after the property for Rita. He can arrange anything you need on the island as he has many contacts. One of the tours we took was one of the best experiences we've had as a couple. He brought us papaya and bananas during our stay as well which were delicious. He's such a friendly man as are all of the people on Principe. This island has touched our hearts and our time will never be forgotten. Thank you Kingfisher, we are forever grateful. Dean & Gabriela.

Valdivia Homes -Príncipe ligger i Santo António. Her er en terrasse, gratis wi-fi og havudsigt. Overnatningsstedet ligger 13 km fra Obo National Park og har en have samt gratis privat parkering. I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay on Príncipe. It‘s just as beautiful as in the pictures and Bracino, the dog, is the sweetest addition to this home you could imagine. Rita regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and the property manager Joaquin was super helpful. Every morning, he brought us fresh fruit from the farm. ❤️ It‘s just a ~7-10min drive from the biggest town on the island and Rita has many recommendations for restaurants. There’s also a beach within walking distance.

Bom Bom - Principe Collection ligger på Bom Bom og har træbungalower i en tropisk have, blot 50 m fra stranden. Location, minimalistic buildings’ approach, beach, breakfast, nice accommodations

Guesthouse Cacau e Café ligger i Santo António, 15 km fra Obo National Park, og har en bar. Værelserne har aircondition, et klædeskab, gratis wi-fi og udsigt til byen. Central, clean, and easy to find. The manager and staff were very polite and helpful. As a suggestion for breakfast, it would be great to have a small written menu to choose from. Also, offering some local coffee and cacao would add a lovely touch to the experience.

Pequeno Principe ligger i Bela Vista, 8 km fra Obo National Park, og har en have, en terrasse og en restaurant samt gratis privat parkering. The owner was helpful with translation from English to Portuguese.

Casas Salomão ligger i Santo António, 18 km fra Obo National Park, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. I can only say good things about this place. First of all the family is really nice and via whatsapp always reachable. Secondly they organise whatever you need (ride, car, boatrip etc). I didnt to a boatrip so cannot tell much, but organised a car within a few minutes. Of course it is basic but still clean, hot water and the best Wifi I had so far. It is in the middle of nowhere, you either need transport or quite a bit of walking towards Santo Antonio or the beaches. I did it, Beaches are about 2-3h round trip. Santo Antonio about 2h round trip but quite steep. Dinner I eat twice and both times plenty and good and it is afordable. The son even speaks perfect english, which is super rare in STP. The cherry on top airport transfer is free

Pousadinha Mar Ave Ilha ligger i Principe og har havudsigt, restaurant, et fælles opholdsområde, bar, have og terrasse. Lodgen har både gratis wi-fi og privat parkering. How can you complain !! It’s not 5 star but if you want to escape the McDonald’s factor this is your place . Make an effort and d’élan more because you will get it get here !

Casa de Andréa ligger ca. 8,7 km fra Obo National Park og har en have, balkon og bjergudsigt. This accommodation is perfect for anyone seeking tranquility, privacy, and a deep connection with nature. The house was clean and well-maintained, as was the spacious garden. There was plenty of room, a comfortable bed, and a large terrace ideal for relaxing and observing nature. The beach is just a short walk away, and you’ll have it all to yourself – total privacy. You are surrounded by nature, with the nearest house several hundred meters away, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Due to the location (in the middle of a tropical forest), the road access is a bit rough, but the natural beauty makes up for it. Breakfasts, on the terrace, were accompanied by the sounds of birds and monkeys – truly magical. Just keep in mind that the terrain is not flat, which is to be expected in a forest setting. Marie was a very attentive host and a wonderful cook. And that fruit? A taste you don't know. We ordered local meals, and everything was delicious. We also took advantage of the guided tour. Our guide picked us up from the airport and in the middle of the week took us to Praia Banana and Praia Boi, both stunning beaches in the north of the island. There’s also an option for a boat tour, which we unfortunately didn’t have time for. If you’re looking for a unique place in the heart of nature with a personal touch, this is it. We will definitely come back here.
