The porter very kindly helped with my luggage even though it was heavy. Unfortunately, I was recovering from illness so I didn't explore as much as I would have liked. However, the location is nearby bus routes to the tourist locations and right next to a convenience store.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Van Orient Hotel is situated in Van, 43 km from Ataturk City Stadium and 45 km from Van Bus Station. The property is around 46 km from Van Museum, 46 km from Van Castle and 48 km from Old Van Houses. Certain units at the property have a terrace with a sea view. The hotel is basically a misleading place as it's name is saying Van Orient but it's 30KM outside van. Staff cannot speak english. i booked two rooms but was given only one room. i booked for 3 nights but then i left after staying there for one night. hotel is poor in every aspects. I lost my money for nothing...... there were other groups of people there who were also complaining about the name and the location of the hotel. it's the worst selection i have ever done with Booking.com
