Absolutely wonderful and helpful staff, great food, nice cottages (we were 8, staying in one family cottage and two double ones), and waking up with the odd baboon or impala herd walking by. Enjoy!

A balcony with garden views is offered in every unit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve stayed in several places around Murchison Falls National Park, but this is by far the best in terms of value for money and facilities. The location is simply amazing — though it’s just outside the park, it gives you a peaceful stay without paying daily park entrance fees. It’s only about a 20-minute drive to the safari gate, so access to the park is still very easy. The food was fantastic — honestly, the best I’ve had anywhere in Uganda! The staff, especially Charles and his team, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My kids absolutely loved the swimming pool and the play area — it kept them entertained for hours, and the overall environment was calm and relaxing for the whole family.

Live entertainment from the village was good fun and people very welcoming. Food was good and they catered to your needs. Staff were so helpful when I took sick [nothing to do with the lodge as I had been sick before arriving, but took a small episode] Cannot thank then enough. Booked a safari with Savannah and the two guides found all we wanted to see. All 4 of the big five. Murchiston Falls is an ideal place to take a vacation and Savannah lodge is where we will definitely head for.
