I came to spend my 30th birthday and everything was simply perfect, from the staff service, the room, the common areas, the restaurant, the game room, and the best part of all was the spa.

Located in Oakhurst, just 10 miles from Yosemite National Park, the completely non-smoking Sierra Sky Ranch was established as a cattle ranch and evolved into a guest ranch in 1946. How authentic it was! Very nice ranch with beautiful interiors. The room was clean, the breakfast was nice and the staff were very welcoming and friendly! We highly recommend this ranch!

We arrived around 7pm which was pretty late but we were welcomed and greeted by the Camp Host Lisa who was the nicest woman. She made us feel at home. The property is so beautiful and CLEAN!! We used the grills and firepit on the deck and trust me it gets very warm in the rooms. Next morning they told us there is coffee/Tea in the Front Office & also a suite shop! Dave greeted us and asked about our stay and we love it! Definitely an anniversary spot or stopover to Yosemite l. Honestly the nicest and most beautiful place! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Highly recommended for anyone who loves wildlife and enjoys deep, thoughtful conversations with smart and insightful people. I actually saw more birds and animals around this place than in Yosemite itself! The hosts used to be park rangers, so they have incredible knowledge about all the local wildlife — it was amazing for identifying species and learning more about them. Beyond that, our conversations went far beyond small talk — they were genuinely intellectual and engaging, which I really appreciated. The room was spotless, and the view from it was absolutely stunning. Since the hosts are former rangers, they also gave us fantastic daily advice for our trips, which was incredibly helpful.

They were very welcoming. The best hosts we ever had. Everything was clean and cozy. The Terrace was perfect for having a quiet morning. We enjoyed it a lot.
