We only stayed for a night after doing the Cao Bang loop and we were very tired so it was perfect for resting. Beautiful, very comfortable and most of all, it was quiet and we could have a great sleep. We booked a lake view room, but even so, the location is not as busy as the center might be and it was great. Breakfast was rich and delicious too, the staff were very nice and kind so we highly recommended this hotel, it was perfect!

Amazing Homestay In Rice Fields With Mountain Views First and foremost, Tri was an amazing host. If possible, try and make your way down down to Homestay Cánh Đồng Vàng because, as beautiful as it is, it also gives you an amazing jumping-off point to experience the Bac Son Valley. Tri made sure that after we got in (after a quite long motorbike trip, so we definitely needed a break) we had a clean room to go and decompress to. Beyond that, the family was super welcoming and gracious. They asked us to have dinner with them, which was delicious, filling, and all in all quite the feast. After dinner we de-camped with Tri and talked more about what brought us to the area, which is a bit out of the way, but highly recommended to make it happen. I really enjoyed our conversation and, if I wasn't so exhausted, I would have loved to keep talking over tea. I wish I had more time to chat with Tri, but even still, it was an amazing experience and stay and I couldn't recommend this homestay enough to other travelers.

Phong Sơn Retreat - Homestay Hữu Liên, Lạng Sơn ligger i Lạng Sơn og har bjergudsigt, restaurant, roomservice, bar, have, terrasse og grill. What an amazing experience! The place is located in a scenic valley with a stunning view to the mountains. The facilities are beautiful, modern and exceptionally clean with a hot shower and nice interior. The staff is going really going the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome and the food is sooo delicious! You can even get your own BBQ on your private terrace. I cannot recommend this place enough! If you are looking for a peaceful place, this is it!

Homestay Yến Long - Đồng Lâm - Hữu Liên - Lạng Sơn ligger i Lạng Sơn og har en have, terrasse, en restaurant og bar. This was one of our favourite homestays from a 1 month motorbike tour of Northern Vietnam and it totally lives up to the outstanding google reviews. The homestay is a traditional wooden building with rooms on the second floor and dining area below. It is set in a pretty gardens in beautiful traditional village surrounded by karst mountains. The valley over the road ("thao nguyen dong lam" on google maps) was absolutely stunning and it's worth staying a night or two in the area just for that. The family was very welcoming and the food was delicious, the menu was extensive and we could even order our favourite bubble tea. The room was clean and the shared bathrooms were nice and close to the rooms on the second floor. I get the impression the homestay caters mainly to Vietnamese guests so expect firm beds, thin walls and get your translate app ready!

This is a magnificent place to stay. Beautiful traditional Vietnamese building, comfortable, quiet and a great view. The staff are brilliant, organized and so friendly. Their food is unbelievably tasty, prices are higher than some but they're large plates and well worth eating in. Wish we could have stayed another night or two.
